I agreed to engage them due to a recommendation from my cousin. Little did I know, it was a very good decision to do so. As first home owners, we have had little expectations, alongside with multiple blind spots that we didn't know would occur during renovation. Thanks to Jophy, he spelt it out for us patiently, artfully used his iPad to draw out his suggestions and gave us his professional point of view whenever we hit roadblocks.
He was transparent with the price. Considering that the market is bad, the offer he provided to our 3 room flat was pretty good. From the start all the way to the end, Jophy has never showed signs of pushing for expensive designs. He always go on the practical approach while maintaining high level of beauty in his work. His meticulous personality also allowed us to see where could possibly go wrong and his strong experience in the industry provided ideas to push through the obstacles relentlessly. ID YenLee is The One.
I would give 10 stars review to my ID YenLee if google allowed.
In Nov 2022, we met 8 IDs from different well-known companies and finally decided to collaborate with YenLee for BTO.
Practical experience, responsive, strong sense of responsibility and no nonsense, that was I observed from her during the whole renovation.
My wife, who is quite particular and has high expectations regarding details, design, and concept, found Yenlee capable of bringing our vision to life at a reasonable cost and with excellent workmanship, her tiler Ah Yap also played a significant role in assisting us during the renovation.
Although there were some unexpected issues along the way, Yenlee handled them professionally and ensured a timely completion of the project in May 2023.
In July 2023, we had annoying issue with HDB regarding to the water leakage. While HDB being ridiculous and pushing the responsibility, she took the initiative to solve it for us which we really appreciated. Even until today Jan 2024, she is still checking our house condition occasionally.
Communication and trust is the key and we're delighted to have the same frequency and chemistry with Yenlee. Definitely will look for her again if we had the opportunity 😊

My wife and I have engaged Jeff and Yu Feng from Taccuino to renovate our HDB EM of more than 30 years old. During the early consultation with Jeff and Yu Feng, they were very patient when they listened to our requirements. They are very detailed in explaining their proposal to us and gave good advice without being too pushy. Their quotation is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive amongst the IDs we requested for quotations.
After several rounds of lengthy discussions, Jeff and Yu Feng gained our trust and commitment before we placed our 10% deposit. After receiving our deposit, Jeff and Yu Feng continued to respond to our requests fast and efficiently like before. As we finalise the 3D drawings, hacking and demolition have started after we have made our second payment, the biggest payment.
Jeff and Yu Feng spent the entire National Day with us choosing tiles, laminates, paint colours etc. However the 3D drawings despite a few revisions have not wowed us. Jeff and Yu Feng continued to be creative, accommodating and patient. We suggest Taccuino to engage better drafters in the future to deliver higher quality 3D drawings to impress potential customers.
Updates on 26/1/2024: Finally the handover was completed and we are very happy with the overall renovation by Taccuino. The final outcome is close to the 3D drawings and we are very pleased. Jeff and Yu Feng continued to follow up with final touch-ups after handover. We look forward to decorating the house further and feature our house in their portfolio ☺️
Despite all the inevitable hiccups along the way, I'm giving a 5-star rating to Taccuino (Jeff & Yu Feng) for the excellent ID service throughout the renovation. I would highly recommend Jeff and Yu Feng for your ID needs.

I could say that Jophy is really professional, responsive and responsible in his work. During our discussions, he provided his honest opinions on what can and cannot be done. We will like to give a shoutout to our ID, yenlee. We have looked around 10 over firms before deciding on her. She understands the design and feels we wanted and she did not miss a single details that w`as discussed during the first session.
Renovation was overall quite a smooth process despite some small hiccups which is normal. However yenlee was able to resolve everything quickly. She was also responsive throughout the whole renovation process.
Overall we are happy with the outcome and thankful to yenlee and her team. Will recommend her to family and friends!

懂的人都懂，孩子都是不受控制的扯门，拉门等等。
相信大家都知道，一分钱一分货。
虽然价钱偏高，但是用料真的很足。
如果大家的屋子想要住10年以上，建议大家可以听取ID 介绍的牌子。

Engaged Kai as our ID. He is very good. We hear stories that we should avoid moving in during the 7th month. So we asked Kai if he can complete the renovation before that. He really delivered what he promised. And he did not compromise on the quality. The result is better than the 3D drawings. It is exactly my dream house. I love the aesthetic. First and foremost, we would like to say a huge thank you to our ID Yenlee for the excellent hard work she has done to build our first home. We were impressed by her work through looking at one of our sibling’s house and we heard all the good reviews about her and decided to proceed with Yenlee without hesitation.
We are impressed by Yenlee's commitment to her work as well as her technical expertise and understanding. Yenlee has excellent listening skills. She not only listened to our demands and specifications, but she also offered suggestions. She exudes a never-give-up mentality.
As we have renovated our parents' house in the past using several IDs, we can honestly say that none of them compare to Yenlee. Every restoration project inevitably involves some bumps in the road, but for us, everything went quite well. Yenlee worked extremely hard to make sure her man completed the task effectively. She visited the location regularly to watch her man working and ensure everything was in working order. She acts as though our home is exactly like hers.
We were very pleased by Yenlee's ability to manage her time and solve problems. Occasionally, my spouse and I struggle to decide what needs to be done for our house. That is where Yenlee steps in, offers advice, and greatly simplifies the decision-making process. We seem to have bonded in some way; it feels like we have known each other for a very long time. She was easy to get in touch with, and she constantly makes sure that everything is completed promptly.
Furthermore, noteworthy was the craftsmanship. The subcontractors put up a lot of effort and collaborate closely. They charge a very fair price.
Other attributes that Yenlee possessed which impresses us was her problem-solving skills and time management. At some point, me and my wife have difficulties on making certain decisions on what need to be done for our home. That is where Yenlee comes in, give suggestions, and make our decision much easier. We somehow have created a bond with her it was as though we have met very long. It was easy to communicate with her and she will always ensure that everything is done well.
The workmanship was impressive as well. The subcontractors work hard and they work well together. Their price is very reasonable.
Overall, we are more than happy with the services provided from Yenlee and her team. From the beginning journey of our renovation, until to the handover, it was an endless satisfaction for us.
Yenlee have turn our house to our dream home. Highly recommended. We look forward to work with her again in future for our future home. - The Design concept: It was a great balance of aesthetics and functionality. The team made suggestions after considering everyday scenarios as well as our preferences to ensure we’ve ample space to move around, won’t bump into furniture, that dimensions fit etc.
- We had the opportunity to work with Jophy and Kai who are both genuinely nice people. They are responsive over text to answer our questions, clear in their communication (will update milestones proactively along the way), and reliable (fix any issues that arose promptly), such that we able to have a complete peace of mind.

Although we ended up not engaging Jeff & Yu feng due to personal preferences on our concept, this review is to share our good experiences we had with both of them.
Despite having our own designs at the start, both of them gave good practical concerns with sufficient clarifications prior to moving to the second appointment for quotation. On the second appointment, they even came up with another design revolving our key concept.
Compared to other ID firms we visited, they are more genuine, not about the flashy but no practicality. We also visited one of their existing project sites and workmanship is also 5/5. Jeff was very kind to explain to us end-to-end processes, steps, and the additional services they provide.
Definitely an ID that makes me feel more trusted than even those CaseTrust/Qanvast/Famed IDs which might house some shady or inexperienced IDs.

My partner and I got a resale unit that required quite extensive work, as the previous owner had lots of built-in carpentry. We took a long time to find an ID, as we've heard many horror stories about IDs doing slip-shod work, and many of the IDs we've met just weren't able to give us the assurance that they'll be able to deliver our vision.
It has been such a blessing to have met Jophy! From the first meeting, it was obvious that Jophy was smart and very experienced in his field. He was able to value add to our current idea and point out the flaws that came with our initial plan for the home. There were a few compelling reasons why we decided to trust Jophy:
1. He was practical and gave us a design proposal that suits our needs
2. He was responsive and very responsible with his work. We saw his good work ethics from the very start, and while we took a few months to confirm and put in a deposit, he was very, very patient with us.
3. He was able to value-add to our ideas, and point out the best design elements to match our home.
4. The price quoted to us was reasonable -- We've even met with individual contractors that quoted us 1.5x the amount he's quoted us for the renovation works. I've seen quite a few quotations and what he quoted was fair and reasonable.
Through our renovation process with Jophy, he's been super responsive to all our queries. My partner and I are quite particular with the way certain things are being designed, and we had many practical considerations that Jophy managed to take into account through the process. The co-ordination went really smoothly, and he even helped us to coordinate with electricians, air conditioner, and external vendors that we've hired for our renovation.
Lastly, I appreciate Jophy for his hardworking and sincere attitude. He answers our queries even at night, gave us advice on our furnishing purchases, and he definitely puts his clients and his work above himself. He was so happy when he saw the end result of our home -- and we were too :).
It's refreshing to see an ID take pride in his work, and my partner and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you Jophy for helping us realise our design vision for our very first home!
Update: It's been a year since the renovation and Jophy is still good friends with us. He even came down to rectify any minor defaults in our home even 1 year on.

Engaged Kai in our little humble abode in Woodleigh, described to him the kind of concept we wanted. Exchanged back and forth a couple of appointments and he showed us a design profile for our BTO, very patient in all the appointments, no nonsense guy.
After reviewing the design he got for us, did some minor changes and we were really excited for the outcome. Couple months have passed, everything was done by their company and contractors and our home is ready. I was actually sceptical about the final outcome, we told ourselves to be prepared for roughly 60 to 70% similar to the design he provided and not hope for a 100% with accordance to the design profile.
It was amazing, just have a look at the photos attached. They actually got everything almost on point, neat and tidy, love it.

We engaged Jophy as our ID for our very first home together, and it was one of the best decisions we made. We usually hear a lot about renovation nightmares and is thankful that this didn't happen to us during our renovation journey!
Jophy is usually very quick and responsive to any of our queries, and has really great documentation habits. Changes are always updated after each discussion, and he made the whole process really simplified for us, be it on items that we need to purchase, the dimensions, materials, tiles, appliances/furnitures like type/brand etc. He is detail orientated and experienced, and has issues settled in the house for us even without us asking for it! Even though handover was done, when there were further issues with our house, he still followed up and addressed it for us with his vendors promptly.
It has been a great experience, and would definitely recommend him or engage Jophy for our next house again! :)

This gave me a peace of mind as I need to travel often. As a first time home owner, I look to my ID for practical suggestions during planning / proposals when things crop up. Jeff never fails to deliver. Even after the project has completed, Jeff is still very responsive and dependable when I had minor touch ups that need to be rectified. I'm very satisfied and happy on how my home turned out!

We were very blessed to have found Kai as our ID! He was recommended by our friend who had a good experience getting him to renovate his house. We went to our friend's house and were amazed by the design and quality. Before we got our keys to our BTO, we called Kai right away. He was super patient and listened to us. He was very friendly and approachable. It was so nice that he always sent us photos via whataspp to give us updates on the renovation progress. We never had to worry even though we were very busy at work. The whole process was so smooth. The end result looks exactly as the 3D drawing which we were thrilled about when he gave us.
Kai would always liaise with the contractors and go down to check on the progress himself. As we don't know anything about the technical stuff, he would patiently explain to us and give us his recommendations but never forcing his ideas on us. He doesn't blindly say yes to everything. He made sure that he understood our needs, and designed things that were still practical and within our budget. He is also super creative. We wanted an island but it would be kinda in an awkward place so he suggested that we changed to a peninsula as it would define the space and extend the countertop. His design made our kitchen more functional and still allowed us to enjoy our coffee break there. He also helped us to plan for a lot of things that we never thought of as first-time homeowners.
We are also super happy about the workmanship of the carpentry. They are so detailed seriously. Our parents were so impressed when they visited us. We felt safe with them and didn't encounter any issues. Everything was also itemised and clear. Personally, we feel that the quotation was reasonable especially with that high quality of work delivered.
Kai looks so young but is so professional, knowledgeable and responsible. He always replies us. Very responsive. We are so glad that we could click so well and the whole progress was so smooth. We have been staying in our new house for about 1 month now. So satisfied about everything! I think renovation is really about trust, accountability and quality. We never had to worry. That's the most important thing.
